Looking Good!

Sam had a great doctor's appointment on Friday with the neurologist. She said his EEG was fantastic and he is doing great. She was a little concerned that he has a small head, but was not concerned because developmentally he's doing everything he's supposed to. He's starting to come off the last medication and will be med free in about 4 weeks - yeah!!! We'll return in six weeks for another follow-up but won't need to have an EEG at that time. He's getting past his fussy stage and is starting to be much more awake and aware every day. He's pretty even-tempered and has been smiling and cooing and "talking" a lot. Sam's even starting to like his bath a bit more - he's still not a big fan, but he's not crying and kicking through the whole thing anymore! We're so happy it's starting to get warmer outside, we were able to take the stroller out and go to the St. Paddy's Day parade on Saturday and got a good walk in on Sunday. I started back to work Monday morning. I'm easing myself in with mornings only for the next couple weeks and then coming home in the afternoons when Matt has to go to work. It wasn't too bad today and I got a great big smile when I got home and Matt did a great job, so the first day is OK - we'll see how the rest go!

  1. Don't forget that "small heads" do run in the Erickson family... Grandpa John and Great Grandpa Erickson... I believe it is heritary.. Love you Sam and we are sooooo anxious to see you. Mom and Dad also,of course. Love you guys. Grandma E
